Mock me if you will, but I am a HUGE fan of the Sex and the City chronicles.
So yes, of course, I loved the second movie!
Not only was the movie fantastic, so were the interiors. I loved Carrie's new apartment and I've always loved Charlotte's place, but I'll just show pictures of their kitchens here.
Carrie's beautiful kitchen backsplash is tile by Heath Ceramics from Ann Sacks.
Charlotte's Kitchen is white on white, the ever-so-popular subject around here. (Sorry, this is the best picture I could find!)
Even if you aren't a fan of the TV show and movies, you have to admit the interiors are amazing.
If you have seen the second movie, tell me....what did you think?

I love that tile, too!
By chance, I discovered the tile in a different application (in white) and fell in love with it... even did a blog post about it. The blue version used in SC2 is gorgeous!!
Thanks for dropping by DesignTies earlier today - I'm happy that you like my new drapes! You mentioned the drapery that Sarah used in "Sarah's House 2"... actually, that's a different fabric, from Ikea actually. There IS a similarity between the two fabrics - they both have leaves in their motif, although the Ikea fabric's leaves are much larger. It's a great fabric and the colours are fantastic!! No orange in them though, so they wouldn't work in my dining room :-) Here's a link to a photo of the nursery if you'd like: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4044/4283621116_41f009044e.jpg
Hope to see you over at DesignTies another day!!!

P.S. LUV coming over here and seeing all the beautiful stone!
It's funny how we designers pick up on interiors while watching movies. It bugs my partner whenever I name the fabric or furniture piece that I recognize in a scene..hehe
Victoria-
How embarrassing! I'm sorry for calling your fabric Ikea fabric. TO be honest I was on my laptop when watching that episode and didn't catch that it was from Ikea, I should have looked at the tv more closely before saying that to you. :)
I've seen that tile in white too, but not on your blog so now I'm going to go search your archives for it!
Dale-
Thanks for reading our blog!
I do the same thing in movies! I can't remember what movie I was watching recently but the duvet cover was this Oscar de la Renta fabric that I love. I couldn't hold it in and told my husband and he bluntly told me he did not care. :)
