CaesarStone has eight colors that contain recycled content.
What is the recycled content in the slabs? The Quartz Reflections and Ruby Reflections colors are recycled glass and mirrors. The other slabs contain recycled remnants of CaesarStone...pretty cool right?
Today I took a picture of the recycled colors. They are (from left to right) Marrone, Quartz Reflections, Ruby Reflections, Smoky Ash, Chocolate Truffle, Carbone, Starry Night and Spring Blossom.
Here's the breakdown of the recycled content that my oh-so-smart CaesarStone Rep. provided me with...
*Carbone and Marrone-42 % CaesarStone remnants
*Ruby Reflections-35% post consumer glass and mirrors.
*Quartz Reflections-30% post consumer glass and mirrors.
*Chocolate Truffle and Smoky Ash- 17% post consumer glass.

Excellent info, Thanks!
We just ordered in some Chocolate Truffle and Blizzard slabs. Although our 'old school' shop hasn't done any fabricating with the Quartz yet, I'm hoping that having a couple new colours in will entice people to try it. The fact that the Truffle has 17% post consumer recycled glass content could be a great selling feature for some folks-- My rep should have told me about this, right?
Oh well, I can make my own signage to draw peoples attention that fact.
Thanks for keepin up with this great blog!
Sue
Thanks Sue!
The Chocolate Truffle is a big seller anyway....at least here in Utah. I think it's because it's such a warm color. My CaesarStone rep. told me it's one of their top selling colors here. So I would think your customer's will like it for the color and then hopefully love it for the recycled content.

I had no idea. Very cool. I really do love the quartz reflections color.
I am in love with the Spring Blossom color, to the point that we are house window-shopping and I said "Oh, that kitchen is already ready for Spring Blossom!" about one of the houses we were looking at.
The recycled factor is a bonus, but the look feels a little bit retro to me, and I'm all about that!
Great post, thank you for spreading the CaesarStone love!
Wow all I can say is that you are a great writer! Where can I contact you if I want to hire you?
