Slab Sunday: Verde Ubatuba granite

Verde Ubatuba is quarried in a bedrock quarry in Espirito Santo, Brazil.

Overall it is a dark green with flecks of gold, brown and lighter green colors.  9 times out of 10 I have to tell people it's green, usually people think it's black because it's so dark.  Depending on the lighting in your home and the slabs that you pick, it will look more or less green in your home.  Because of this, I recommend taking a sample home to see if you like the color before committing to it.

After the slabs have been quarried and cut oxidation starts to take place.  This is what causes the brown/ rust colors in the slabs.  Some Ubatuba slabs have a lot more brown/ rust coloring than others.

It’s good-looking for Mascarello granite model. I also do like to make this type of kitchen.http://www.granitememorial.in
