As I said the other day, the Interior Designer, Clayton Thompson* is ridiculously good at finding antique furniture pieces and having them refinished and repurposed.
He did it again with the beautiful furniture piece turned vanity cabinet in this Powder Bath...
Clayton designed the backsplash to be extra tall to keep it to scale with the vessel sink and faucet. We basically built two boxes and then they "set" the upper furniture shelf on top of them.
It's all in the details and Clayton is great about paying attention to every little detail.
The edge detail is a 1 1/2" laminated Double Waterfall (not to be confused with this Waterfall edge).
We also did the Fireplace Face and Hearth in the Great Room.
The granite is Galaxy Black.
As you can see the hearth sits flush into the hardwood floor. I really like this detail rather than having it stick up slightly and be a tripping hazard.
