Holiday Reruns: CaesarStone quartz in a Contemporary Home from MGS by Design

Happy Holidays!
We hope you are enjoying your holiday season.  We are taking some time off of the blog to recuperate after this fantastically busy season.  Thanksgiving and Christmas are always the busiest time of the year for fabricators, but this year was especially busy!  We are so grateful for the business and we hope it continues strong into the new year.
We will be posting our favorite projects from 2012 until the new year.  We'll be back with new posts on January 2nd.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was probably my personal favorite project from last year.  I still think about this home all the time!

Kitchen originally posted January 12th.

Last week I had the opportunity to photograph what could be my dream home.  I'm a sucker for contemporary/ minimalist homes and this one was to die for!
I was so glad BJ asked me to take the pictures, it was fun to see the home....and the views that these homeowners have.

The countertops are CaesarStone quartz.  Color #2003 Concrete.  We did a 2 1/4" Mitered edge detail on the sink run and the island.  The lower seating area has a 4" Mitered edge detail.

This was a fun job to work on, but the best part was definitely the homeowners.  Somehow we get really lucky and work with the best people.

I wish I would have had my UV filter on my camera so you all could see the views.  They have windows on the back and the side of their home, so they have views of all of Utah county.  It was so beautiful.

*Mother-In-Law originally posted January 24th.

This kitchen is in the "Mother-In-Law" apartment in the same house.  It's definitely not your typical mother-in-law styled apartment!
The countertops are #2020 Cinder CaesarStone with a Mitered edge detail.

I mentioned in the last post that this home is pretty dang close to my dream home.  It was so gorgeous!  They used the CaesarStone everywhere.  Here are a few more pictures from around the home...
